SITE SURVEY RESOURCES 

Below is detailed information regarding what consultants must do for the site survey qualifications. for each one listed the consultant must provide the company.

Roof Photos

  • Take a picture of each side of the roof. ​

  • Take roof pictures for detached structures like a garage, even if the design has no panels for that space.​

  • DQ is a Cedar Shake roof ​

Rafter Photos

  • Ask the customer for attic access and take pictures of the rafters. ​

  • Use a tape measurer on the rafters. ​

  • Take pictures of each attic space, including a detached structure like a garage, even if the design has no panels for that space.

Electrical Panel Photos

  • Take a picture of the type of electrical panel.​

  • Take a picture of the entire panel with the door open.​

  •  Ensure all writing is as clear as possible on the panel door. A separate picture should be taken of the door. ​

  • Unscrew the panel to see the wires. ​

  • DQ is a Fuze Box

Cold Water Grounding Photos

This is where water enters the house, usually by the water heater or water main.​

  • Take a picture of the area to judge NEC clearance

Utility Meter Photos

  • Take a photo with the meter numbers visible and readable.​

  • The meter must have a 6 feet clearance. ​

  • DQ if the meter is in the house.

Service Line Conductor Photos

This is the wire or set of wires that transmit electricity from a transformer on a distribution line to a customer facility/home.

ComEd/ Ameren Bill Photos

  • The numbers need to be visible for every part of the bill.​

  • The front and back need to be documented.​

  • We’re looking for the name, address, date, and account and meter number.​

  •  For front page date, meter and account number to match the back.​

Proof of Title Photos

Proof of Title must include the homeowner's (one who signs the agreement) full name and address. ​

  • Property Deed​

  • Tax Document ​

  • Homeowners Insurance (HOI)​

  • Trust? Proof as Authorized Signer

Include screenshots with the sold design. ​
